The Johnson County Comets Track Club is a youth summer track club for athletes from age 6-18. The club is both recreational and competitive depending on the level of competition the various athletes would like to pursue. The club is designed to promote track and field while providing an environment for the kids to have fun and make new friends.

- May 11: Runstars Meet – Leavenworth High School
- May 18: Windsteppers Meet – William Jewel College

- District/State Meets (The top sixteen (16) finishers in each individual, relay and multi-event shall advance from the District Qualifier to the Regional Qualifier):
- June 1: Kansas location – Wichita Southeast High School
- June 7-8: MO Valley location – Ray-Pec High School
- Regional Meet (To advance to the 2024 AAU Junior Olympic Games from an AAU Track & Field Regional Qualifier, an athlete needs to finish in the top five (5) in a Running Event, top five (5) in a Field Event, top five (5) in a Relay and three (3) Multi-Event):
- June 19-22: Bentonville West High School – Centerton, Arkansas
- AAU Junior Olympics National Meet – Greensboro, North Carolina:
- July 26-28, 2024: Multi-Events
- July 26-August 3, 2024: Track & Field
